''Control the controllables'

Our Year 11 students are approaching the final stages of their secondary education, with some of the most pivotal moments still ahead. This year, we will encourage them to "control the controllables." With many challenges on the horizon, it’s essential for students to focus on what they can manage in order to prioritise effectively and stay on top of their workload.

We will support them not only in their studies but also in exploring their options for life after school through a variety of internal and external interventions and guest speakers, be it college, an apprenticeship, or other educational pathways.

I am excited to continue working with our Year 11 students this year and look forward to celebrating the culmination of their five years of hard work at Chertsey High School.
